Ken Auletta to MC Saturday Book and Author Luncheon
Ken Auletta has written Annals of Communications columns and profiles for The New Yorker magazine since 1992. He is the author of numerous books, including four national bestsellers: Three Blind Mice: How the TV Networks Lost Their Way; Greed And Glory On Wall Street: The Fall of The House of Lehman; The Highwaymen: Warriors of the Information Super Highway, and World War 3.0: Microsoft and Its Enemies.
His new book, Googled: The End of the World as We Know It, not only takes us inside the inner workings of Google, but also profiles online giant’s founders.
Auletta will serve as the Master of Ceremonies at the BEA 2009 Book and Author Luncheon. He will be joined by panelists Pat Conroy, author of South of Broad; Lorrie Moore, author of A Gate at the Stairs; and Dan Pink, author of Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Truly Motivates Us.
