The Heard Word: BEA’s Audiobook and Author Tea

Master of Ceremonies and veteran audiobook narrator Oliver Wyman opens this session, hosted by the Audio Publishers Association, with a reading from Richard Brautigan’s novella Trout Fishing in America. Wyman is joined by John Lithgow and Roy Blount Jr., who have not only authored new books but also served as narrator, as well Jennifer Egan and Tom Perrotta, who explain what it is like to hear another voice bring their novels into the audiobook realm.
